Chelsea and Cory
November 4, 2016
To say Chelsea and Cory’s wedding was one-of-a-kind would be a huge understatement! Co-Owners of their own event-planning company, Take Heart Events located here in Tulsa, they pooled their expertise, creating the perfect wedding day for each other! Lovers of the galaxy, the most exquisite setting to vow their lives to each other was beneath the stars in the planetarium at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum.
Of course the Bride was the brightest star in their universe and her attire had to be equally stellar. Bridal Couture By Sonni designed a unique ensemble including a coordinating headband, veil and shoes to complement Chelsea’s exceptional gown. The bodice is a dramatic wide V-neckline, covered in champagne-colored embroidered lace. The lace continues over the shoulder to create the delicate cap sleeves. Matching beaded lace embellishes the satin ribbon tied around the waist. The skirt is designed from a flowy silk organza and taffeta, cut into a high-low hem. A gorgeous sapphire-colored tulle lies hidden beneath the skirt to accentuate the fiber optic fabric layered within it. YES! I said, FIBER OPTIC! My favorite part of creating this unique gown was incorporating the unusual fiber optic material! At the precise moment the officiant pronounced the couple husband and wife, with the flip of a switch enclosed within a discrete side pocket, Chelsea’s dress “lit up” in a mesmerizing glow of blue, wowing her new husband, family, and friends!
After the dreamy ceremony, guests gathered at the grand Hyatt Hotel in Downtown Tulsa to celebrate the happy couple’s lifetime commitment. All of Chelsea and Cory’s efforts and countless hours of planning the perfect wedding paid off, proving they are compatible partners in business and life!
Chelsea, thank you so much for the honor of creating your spectacular wedding gown! I wish you and Cory much happiness now and beyond infinity!
