Where to even begin with Kenna... Kenna and her family has such special place in my heart and I wish I could make her dresses forever!!!
I had the pleasure of making not one, but TWO gorgeous dresses for Kenna!
Her ceremony dress is the epitome of elegance and grace. It was inspired by Grace Kelly's wedding dress but with a Kenna twist. The bodice is a sweetheart neckline and is covered in a Chantilly lace that creates an illusion neckline and fitted sleeves. It sintches in at the waist and flares into a full gathered ball-gown skirt made of a luxurious silk taffeta. One of my favorite details in the skirt, it has pockets!!! (See details below on the 2nd dress!)
Kenna's 2nd dress is inspired one of our own gowns in the Tel Aviv collection, Aliza. The neckline is a low V with an embroidered lace overlaid to create an off-the-shoulder look. The back laces up in a criss-cross pattern (inspired by a ballerina slipper). The bodice was also hand-dyed to a deep blush which looks amazing on Kenna's skin tone and makes the lace pop! We made the skirt by pleating organza and keeping the shape fun and flirty! This skirt also has pockets...
