In addition to our custom wedding dresses something we LOVE to do is recreate a mother's wedding dress for her daughter. And that's exactly what we had the pleasure of doing for Ann!

The dress was originally from the early 90's and you could tell! The fabrics and lace are gorgeous but the style was definitely in need of some updates!

We started by removing the skirt completely from the original bodice and fitting it snuggly around the hips. We then detached the train and used the fabric to create a entirely new bodice! The new bodice is a modern sweetheart neckline and scoops low in the back.

Lastly, we took the lace that was around the original sleeve and attached it to the new strap.

This transition was truly beautiful and we loved creating a one-of-a-kind dress for Ann!
