April's end brought a new beginning for Liz and Brett. Surrounded by their closet friends and family, these two love birds said "I do" and started their forever! But before Liz could walk down the aisle, she needed the perfect dress!

Liz and I sat down in December of 2016 to discuss her dream wedding dress! She wanted her dress to be simple, timeless, and effortless. We looked through our lace books to find the perfect Chantilly lace and paired it with a luxurious silk taffeta for the skirt.

Her dress has a sweetheart bodice with a scalloped illusion lace neckline. We also used the scalloped edge of the lace to create a delicate cap sleeve. Her waist is defined with a simple silk taffeta band and the back is finished with matching silk taffeta covered buttons. Her skirt is a classic ballgown that has been gathered at the waist and effortless falls to the floor. The skirt is completed with a sweep train and did I mention... pockets!!!

My team and I absolutely loved creating Liz's dream dress and her fittings were always the highlight of our week!!
